"Our Wellcome Trust Investigator project is focused on discovering the virulence factors used by novel clades of S. Typhimurium and S. Enteritidis to cause disease in Africa."

The underlying theme of our current research is to understand the intricate interplay of gene expression that leads to bacterial infection and pave the way for new antibiotics and vaccines.
